BREAKING News: Kumasi Suame Market Gutted By Fire

Reports reaching Ghanawish.com reads that there is an explosion that caused a fire outbreak has gutted stores at Kumasi Suame Magazine near Mbrom hotel in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region.

In the last 48 hours, Ashanti Regional Capital Kumasi has reported three fire outbreaks that cause fear among residents about what may happen.

The fire that began about 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, January 12, 2020, collected by Mynewsghana destroyed spare parts worth billions of cedis, leaving craftsmen helpless.

In an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, eyewitness Omega Kwarteng clarified that attempts by staff and shop managers to contain the fire proved unsuccessful as it engulfed their products locked in the shops.

“There is a fire beyond reach. We noticed that smoke came from the building on the floor and the fire erupted.

Osei Kwadwo, who visited the site, told MyNewsGh.com that Ghana National Fire Service personnel are still attempting to gain entry to the structure to drench the flames.

The scene has already been reached by 2 fire tankers.
