Baba Jamal Wins Akwatia NDC Primary

Baba Jamal, incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia, has once again won the elections in his constituency.

Baba Jamal polled 3653 votes while his only contender Mr. Basile Ahiable, a businessman polled 2016 votes in the election which was held on Tuesday, 19th January, 2016.

A total of 5,767 valid votes were cast with 98 rejected ballots.

Baba Jamal will now face the parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Madam Mercy Adu-Gyemfi for the Akwatia seat.
