Asempa FM apologises to Mahama over conduct of presenter

The Management of Multimedia Group operators of Accra-based Asempa FM has apologised to former President John Dramani Mahama over the conduct of one of its on air staff, Nana Akua Acheampong Sarfo-Adu.

In a letter dated Tuesday, 12 November 2019, addressed to Mr Mahama, and signed by its Programmes Director, Samuel Yirenkyi, the Multimedia Group said: “Nana Akua while presenting one of our shows, dubbed ‘Kanawu’ used words that were unpleasant to your person.

“As a result, the management of the station wishes to unreservedly apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter, Nana Akua Acheampong Sarfo-Adu.”

The management of the station also indicated that it has taken necessary measures to prevent the incidence from reccurring
