Asamoah Gyan Reacts To The DEATH Of Junior Agogo- Screenshot

General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has reacted to the unfortunate demise of Ghana’s ex International, Junior Manuel Agogo which sadly occurred in London this morning. 

Asamoah played alongside Junior Agogo at the 2008 AFCON tourney which was hosted by Ghana. That tournament was Agogo’s defining moment as his important goals helped the Black Stars to advance to the semis only to be denied entry into grand finaly by Cameroon. 

Taking to Instagram, Asamoah Gyan shared a photo of Junior Agogo in the national team jersey with the caption; “Thanks for the memories JUNIOR. R. I . P bro. .”

The 40-year-old played for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Zamalek Sheffield Wednesday, Queens Park Ranger, Chicago Fire among other clubs.

Agogo made 27 appearances for Ghana and scored 12 goals.
