Another Minister Resigns From Akufo-Addo Government; Dan Botwe To Act

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has yet again accepted the resignation of another Minister from his government.

The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ebenezer Kojo Kum, is said to have tendered in his resignation on Friday, February 3.

President Akufo-Addo is said to have thanked him for his services to the government and to the country, wishing him we’ll in his future endeavours.

Mr Kojo Kum, who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Ahanta West Constituency, was indisposed the greater part of last year.

He recently held a thanksgiving service in his constituency for regaining his strength and health as he was reported death as some point.

“The President has asked the Minister of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. Dan Botwe, MP, to act as caretaker Minister at the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs until a substantive replacement is made,” a statement issued by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, said.
