Andre Ayew Donates Cash To Support Former U-20 Coach Sellas Tetteh

Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has donated to his former coach Sellas Tetteh, who is presently dealing with health issues.

In 2009, Andre Ayew served as the captain of Sellas Tetteh’s team that emerged victorious at both the African Youth Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Tetteh had previously disclosed that he had yet to receive promised funds from 14 years ago after winning the world championship with the Black Satellites in Egypt.

In response, Ayew has donated money to the 66-year-old coach to help him pay for his medical expenses and other immediate needs.

The donation was made on behalf of Andre Ayew by his mother, Maha Ayew together with the family’s spokesperson Fiifi Tackie at the home of the coach in Accra.

The former Rwanda national team head coach has had stints with the Black Starlets as well as Sierra Leone.

He also led the Black Satellites to finish third in the 2013 U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
