Newscaster and renowned broadcast journalist Afia Pokua, Vim Lady has shown kindness to some children in a rural area.
The newscaster and presenter ahead of schools reopening has gone ahead to support some of these children in rural areas with learning materials.
This act by Afia Pokua has won the hearts of many as they applaud her for the kind gesture, however, she also revealed her reasons for this act in an Instagram post.
She said, “It takes you, one person to start making impact. Start from your community, village, town or school-Prof Kwenyehia once told me. I was only fortunate to have been born in TEMA and raised at Comm 9 but these children need motivation, positive examples and resources to stay in school. Helping with books, pencils bags and more is the little I can do to support these children. 2021 God help us to do more for these rural areas”
