Achimota school rejects GES directive to admit Rastafarian students

Achimota School has rejected a directive by the Ghana Education Service(GES) to admit two Rastafarian students.

After a crunch meeting on Monday,March 22,2021 with the regional director of education and the GES,the Headmistress of the school emphasized that either the parents compromise on their religious beliefs and allow their children to take off the deadlocks or students will be denied admission to the school.

According to her,school authorities will not compromise on its school rules.
