Following John Dramani Mahama’s declaration that the next NDC government will repeal the e-levy law by 2024, most NPP communicators and leading analysts questioned Mahama’s reliability, questioning whether he could keep his pledge if he won the 2024 election.
Former Presiding Methodist Bishop Bosomtwi Ayensu, however, took a different approach to the promise, claiming that Mahama will not win the 2024 election, let alone repeal the e-levy.
As a result, a former appointee under the Mahama government who is now an advisor to the Former President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, lost control and launched a vicious attack on the Bishop.
“He will be condemned as a charlatan who utilized the pulpit for partisan benefit for the NPP. He is without of substance, and given his NPP’s terrible governance, he will not fool anyone this time.” Felix Kwakye Ofosu Kwakye penned the piece.
