President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo, has appealed to members of the Asokwa Church of Pentecost, Mckeown Temple, to offer him a special prayer during church services.
Akufo-Addo requested the audience to pray for him to have confidence and a good heart so that he can lead the country.
On Sunday, he addressed the auditorium, saying that a former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Opoku Onyina, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Cathedral, is working hard for him.
“Because of Opoku Onyina, the National Cathedral would be built to honour me,” he told the church members.
President Akufo-Addo however, presented physical cash of Gh¢20,000 to the Church as an offering.
