Chief of Wenchiki in the Chereponi District of the North East Region Nana Abubakar Awuffor, is calling on Water and Sanitation Ministry, Ghana Water Company, NGO’s, and Philanthropist to intervene as Community with over five thousand population depends on one borehole.
It’s very pathetic, my people keeps fighting everyday all because of water. “We don’t know what to do again, over five thousand residents in my Community depends on one borehole because there’s no other sources of water to drink, bath or for households choices” he said.
Nana Abubakar made this known in an interview with Media and said all efforts to get attention of the authorities to help solve their water crises yield no positive results hence calling on the media for assistance.
