It has been a mystery since no one knew what actually happened between Sarkodie and Awal which got them separated after their initial fruitful encounter.
Many have wondered without answers for so long, however, Awal in a recent interview has come out boldly to explain the circumstances leading to their separation.
According to Awal, it was the media who create a feud between him and Sarkodie when a song he released was taken as a diss song by the media.
“Nothing happened between myself and Sarkodie. All of a sudden, I just saw on the internet Bloggers spreading the news that I have dissed Sarkodie. I recorded a song dubbed appreciation and it was mistaken as a diss song to Sarkodie because I mentioned his name at the end….” – Awal said.
