The Imo State Police Command has arrested one Ajaegbu Chukwuebuka for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old girl.
GHANAWISH.COM reports that the 42-year-old man hails from Eke-Eziachi village in Orlu council area of Imo state.
According to reports, the minor, whose identity is being protected, sustained injuries around her privates.
The child’s mother said she suspected a problem when the child cried at any attempt to touch that part of her body during a bath.
When questioned, the little girl told her mother it was Ajaegbu Chukwuebuka who hurt her.
The state Police Public Relation Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu while speaking to ghanawish.com confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect is currently in their custody as investigations were still ongoing.
