19-year-old UCC level 100 student killed

A Level 100 student of the University of Cape Coast has been killed by a speeding vehicle of Ayensudo near the UCC Satellite Campus of the Nduom School of Business and Technology, the university has announced in a statement.

19-year-old Priscilla Owusu Achia was in the company of her friends to buy some food items when the Sprinter bus which was overtaking another car knocked her.

The incident happened on Saturday, 10th April 2021 and she passed on Tuesday, I 3th April 2021 at about 11:30 a.m.

The statement by the university management added that the family has been informed and the Saltpond Police is currently investigating the case.
