‘I Don’t Allow Sex During Fasting Periods’

Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy thinks it’s ungodly to have sex as a Christian during fasting periods.

According to her, because she is a gospel musician, her husband understands her calling, hence he would agree if she is to abstain from going intimate for a while.

Ohemaa made the comment while speaking on Hitz FM which was monitored by GHANAWISH RADIO UK

When Andy Dosty asked Ohemaa how she gets under the sheets with her spouse during those fasting periods, she hesitated to answer.

But, she eventually said, “For me, my husband understands my ministry and there is time for everything. We do fast together, so if it’s 30 days, we would both wait and do what we have to after.”

Ohemaa Mercy is currently fasting ahead of her annual Tehilla Experience show, which is set to take place at the ICGC Calvary Church Temple at Spintex on August 11, 2019.

The event is one of the biggest gospel concerts on Ghana’s entertainment calendar. To make it a typical spiritual event, Ohemaa and her team always organise fasting and prayers ahead of the event.
