This is what Nana Addo said to Muslims as they celebrate Eid Fitr

President of Ghana, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has shared a piece of words with Muslims as he joinedthe National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, Zongo Chiefs and Muslims, celebrate Eid ul-Fitr at the Independence Square, in Accra.

I urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of Ramadan, and make them a part of their lives.

If there are any Muslim citizens who are in a hurry to remove the garb of Ramadan, and resume the “business as usual” attitude, I urge them to reflect on the word, as contained in Quran, and I quote, “Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain righteousness.” he said and quote
