“I just feel Ghanaians are not appreciating me that much because currently, I can say I’m the best songwriter. Look at the young generation, I mean the young guys who are in right now. For me, honestly, nobody comes close when it comes to songwriting.”

Kweku Darlington, born Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington, rose to fame with his hit song, ‘Sika Aba Fie’. His latest song, Onipa, featuring Okyeame Kwame and Fameye, is gathering rave reviews from the industry.

According to Kweku Darlington, he is arguably the best songwriter. He told Pulse Ghana, “Just look through the people around you. I’m just being honest. When it comes to writing lyrics, this isn’t bragging or something. When it comes to songwriting, I feel no one in the young generation comes close.”
