JUST IN: Ghana Records First Case Of Ebola In Northern Region

The Northern Regional Health Directorate has announced a suspected case of Ebola in the Tamale metropolis.

The case was reported at the Tamale West Hospital and the patient has been isolated, receiving treatment.

This was announced by the Northern Regional Disease Control Officer, Fuseini Mahama.

The Public Health Emergency Response Team has however been deployed in a bid to contain the situation.

Mr Fuseini Mahara, Northern Regional Disease Control Officer, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency in Tamale
