53 Schools Land In Trouble As CID Probes Corruption In Free SHS Feeding

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service have started an investigation into corruption that has been going on in school feeding program under the Free SHS policy. The CID recently notify the Ghana Education Service of the ongoing investigation in secondary schools.

From the CID department of the Police Service, 53 Schools in the Ashanti Region have been listed to be investigated following the exchanging of Free SHS food for money. The Ghana Education Service has also given a go ahead to the CID to investigate these schools.

District Education Directors have been tasked to release list of Headmasters and mistresses, Assistant Headmasters and mistresses, Storekeepers and to talk of few so they will help in the ongoing investigation.
