POLICE HOSPITAL TO EMBARK ON A MASS BURIAL FOR 150 UNKNOWN BODIES

The Ghana Police Hospital will embark on a mass burial for about one hundred and fifty (150) unknown and unclaimed bodies.

This is part of routine measures to decongest the Police Hospital mortuary, the hospital said in a statement signed by its PRO DSP Yaw Nketia Yeboah.

“The general public is hereby being informed to contact the Pathology Department of the Ghana Police Hospital for identification of persons who might have not been seen for some time as part of the search,” it advised.

According to the hospital, the unclaimed bodies would be buried next week.

“Members of the public are also encouraged to carry identity (ID) cards on them to help in easy identification in case of accidents or any other health emergencies,” the statement advised
