National Service Personnel Directed To Take Mandatory Paid Leave

The National Service Secretariat (NSS) has announced that with effect from Thursday, March 26, 2020, all National Service personnel  should undertake a mandatory leave with pay.

The leave according to the Secretariat in a statement issued on Tuesday March 24, 2020 signed by the Executive Director, Hon. Mustapha Ussif and sighted by Ghanawish.com will end in April 2020.

The statement added that Nurses who are yet to start their National Service are also asked to stay home the whole of April. This leave, the statement indicates replaces the terminal leave granted all Service Personnel during the last month of their service.

Personnel will be paid during this period as it is the NSS Secretariat’s way of helping in containing the deadly coronavirus.
