Mr. Eric Kwadwo Baidoo, a.k.a Brother by most residents of Assin Fosu in the Central Region, who for the first time in the history of Assin Central Constituency is contesting the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) maverick and firebrand, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the upcoming NPP Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries scheduled on April 25, 2020 has vowed to industrialized Assin Fosu the capital of the Assin Central Constituency when given the node by delegates on April 25, to be their Parliamentary Candidate and to retain the seat for the NPP as always.
Mr. Baidoo made this pronouncement during the time of him filling his nomination to contest for the parliamentary primaries at the party’s constituency office at Assin Fosu.
This will be the first time the NPP Financier, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is been contested for as he has always gone unopposed since becoming a Member of Parliament (MP) for a fifth consecutive time for Assin North now Assin Central for the past 20 years with his first entry to parliament was on 7th January 2001
