Actress Yvonne Okoro will be presenting $10, 000 to the Black Queens of Ghana this week for their performance at the just-ended 2019 WAFU Zone B competition.
This will be at a ceremony at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra, where Yvonne will be hosting the female senior national team on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
It would be recalled that the screen goddess, who has mesmerised many with her beauty and artistry in the movie industry, promised the Black Queens a whopping $10, 000 if they go beyond the group stage of the 2019 WAFU Zone B competition.
Ghana failed to clinch the ultimate prize in the competition, but the Queens won a bronze medal after beating Mali on penalties.
The presentation ceremony on Thursday is for Yvonne Okoro to fulfil her promise to the team.
