Youth, elders together with the incoming assembly member of Ayigya Zongo embark on cleaning up exercise in Ayigya Zongo, a suburb of Oforikrom Municipal.
On June 9th, 2019, these community members took upon themselves to make their community clean because they just finished celebrating their festival, Eid ul-Fitr.
Ghanawish.com made an exclusive interview with one of the income assembly member, Osei Mohammed, to know the reason behind this exercise and he said, we are doing this exercise because, we’ve seen and heard of numerous flood here and there, happening in various regions and towns and for that matter, we are not waiting for this tragedy to happen before we start with this, so we’re doing in other to have good health and also live flood free.
