Counsels for former President John Mahama in the ongoing election petition case are not happy about how their own witness is making contradictory statement to destroy the case they have presented before the Supreme Court, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has said.
Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye in an interview on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show stated that lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata and Tony Lithur were not happy with the way Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia performed in the witness box when he was being cross examined by lawyers for first and second respondents.
“After using the calculator and telling the court that he was not there to call for the nullification of the votes obtained by President Akufo-Addo, the lead counsel for the NDC was not happy and informed Lithur that Asiedu Nketia has brought his ‘things’ to court“, Abronye said.
According to Abronye, as a senior lawyer, Tsatsu Tsikata knows that Asiedu Nketia is destroying the case they have presented to court.
