Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has explained to Joy Prime in a fresh interview stating why he gifted his Most Popular Video of the Year award to his former arch rival Stonebwoy.
The historic moment was recorded at the 2019 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards which was held last Saturday at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
Shatta Wale was the biggest winner of the night with five awards. However when he laid his hands on the Most Popular Video, he willingly asked a representative of Stonebwoy to come for it as a symbol of his intention to consolidate their new found friendship.
Shedding more light on this rare gesture which has stunned Ghanaians, Shatta Wale indicated that his action was genuine and represented a token of his reconciliation process with Stonebwoy.
He also asked up and coming artists to take a cue and be motivated so they can push their craft.
The ‘Paah Paah Paah’ man also disclosed that he’s supportive of Stonebwoy’s hard work in the industry and wish to jell with him going forward.
