Information we are picking up has it that some policemen have met their untimely death after they tried chasing a driver who had flouted traffic rules.
The news was shared on micro-blogging site Twitter by a user with the username @unklebassey who explained that the policemen in a police car were seen chasing a Toyota Sienna car along the Ogini/Akwa Ibom road before crushing their car into a tree.
The user shared:
“Just in- Two Police officers chasing a Siena with passengers had a fatal accident leaving the two Police officers dead along the Ogoni/Akwa Ibom road while the Siena disappeared ?
Other check points became as cool as ice as road users are passing without normal roger.”
