Ras Mubarak

The Member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency, Ras Mubarak, has attributed his defeat in the just ended NDC parliamentary primaries to votes buying.

Mr. Mubarak accused Dr. Adam Hamza, his contender of giving monies to delegates which enhanced his victory.

“There were display of monies to delegates back and forth and I felt it was a bit strange and worrying,” he said

He indicated that the NDC current candidate for the Kumbungu constituency was deliberately sponsored by some businessmen to get him out.

According to Mr. Mubarak, he has reported the matter to the district BNI to investigate it.
