The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Director of Communications who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Adenta Constituency Lawyer Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem monitored by Ghanawish.com , noted that Prof. Frimpong-Boateng himself raised the issue of the missing excavators for investigations, an act that tells how worried he was about the matter.
“Prof. Frimpong-Boateng raised that matter himself, nobody did that for him. So as far as I’m concerned, Prof. Frimpong-Boateng’s integrity is intact. So the question is what should be done after the matter has been raised?” He quizzed.
But Mr. Asamoa said he was optimistic the matter would not be swept under the carpet as purported by the opposition National Democratic Congress since the persons involved have been arrested.
“The fact is, some of the excavators have been found and the people involved have been arrested, including some party members,” he said.
