The funeral ceremony of the slain Member of Parliament for Mfantseman, Ekow Quansah Hayford is underway at Mankessim in the Central Region today, Saturday, November 29, 2020.
The solemn event is being attended by President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia and members of the ruling New Patriotic party, and Ghanaians from all walks of life.
Many of the constituents are unable to hold back their tears as they mourn their beloved Member of Parliament who is described as affable and kind.
The late MP was killed by armed robbers on Friday 9th October 2020 around 1:00am on the Abeadze Nkusukum-Duadze road while returning from campaign activities.
