Photos: Gone But Not Forgotten: Late Major Mahama’s Erected Monument Unveiled In Accra

It’s two years now ever since Major Maxwell Adam Mahama, lost his life after a mob lynched him in Denkyira Obuasi. For carrying a gun and not in his military apparel, he was mistaken as an armed robber, therefore, the angry mob attacked him until he gave up the ghost.In commemoration of his sad demise, the Government has erected a monument in his honour. The statue, located at the Airport Hills roundabout, has been unveiled today and the spot will also be named after him.Photos of the statue:
