Parked Ambulances Not Abandoned, Video Taken For Mischief – National Ambulance Service

Ambulances parked at a workshop, as shown in a viral video, are not abandoned, according to the National Ambulance Service. They are there for routine maintenance and repairs.

Nearly 30 ambulances are parked in a workshop in Tafo, Ashanti Region, according to a widely shared video on social media.

Ambulances from the Ashanti, Bono, and Northern Regions can be seen in the movie, some of which have been damaged by accidents.

However, in an interview with Bonohene Baffour Awuah on Kasapa FM/Agoo TV’s “Ghana Kasa” show on Friday, National Ambulance Service Director, Public Relations, Simmons Yussif Kewura stated that the “NAS would like to put on record that the said location is the designated Ashanti Regional workshop of the Service located in Kumasi where the Service undertakes the routine maintenance, servicing and repairs of all the Ambulances in the middle and northern sectors

He emphasized that the aforementioned Ambulances are present for routine maintenance, service, and repairs.
