Newly Recruited Teachers Can Do Galamsey To Survive – Prof Opoku Amankwa

The Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof Opoku Amankwa has asked the newly recruited teachers who are yet to receive their Staff IDs to do galamsey or other work to survive.

He said this in an interview on UTV today, 22nd July 2022.

Some newly recruited teachers have been working for about 8 months without salary.

The Ghana Education Service has released the 1st and 2nd batch of staff IDs for newly recruited teachers.

However, some teachers are still yet to receive their Staff IDs eight months into working.
