A man has broken up with his girlfriend of 4 years just because she laughed over him winning a 1 Million Naira (GHC14,909) sports betting in yesterday’s Barca match against Bayern.
Apparently, the guy who was a Barcelona FC fan trusted that his team with trash Bayern so he placed a bet of 1 Million Naira hoping to win. But it ended in tears for him.
The money he used was meant to pay for the bride price of his girlfriend in December — when they’re planning to marry.
The frustrated lady who messaged relationship coach Joro Olumofin said they were watching the match together with her boyfriend’s buddies so while they were teasing him, she also laughed a little and this got the guy angry — calling a quit to the relationship.
