Let’s value ourselves and stop making noise about International collaboration – Sammy Forson

Award-winning Ghanaian-Zambian media personality, broadcast journalist, DJ, artist manager, Entrepreneur, and Music award judge,Sammy Forson is cautioning Ghanaian artistes to stop making noise about International collaborations and value themselves.

According to Forson, the western stars do not make such noise on social media and the airwaves when they bag mega deals because they see it as part of their hustle.

In an interview with KobbyKyeiNews, Sammy Forson said, “We make a big deal out of it but those there don’t because it is just music. It is because of how we position those people to make them look better than us. It is about how we see ourselves” as a reply to how difficult it is in getting international works.

He continued by saying, “It’s about how we value ourselves. It’s more of a belief thing. If you believe that you’re good enough and you happen to meet Jay Z right now, how you’ll compose yourself will make him value you”.

We all vividly recall how Shatta Wale made noise during his mega collaboration with Beyonce.

Same can be said of Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and other renowned musicians.
