The latest development surrounding the 2022 World Cup Qualifier match between Ghana and Nigeria is that the match has been moved from Cape Coast to Kumasi.

This was shared by the popular Ghanaian sports journalist, Saddick Adams Obama on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

This comes after it was established that the Cape Coast Stadium which has been the place where the Black Stars played their home matches was not in good shape following the recent Independence Day celebration.

The post he made reads;

“JUST IN: Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi to host Ghana 🇬🇭 v Nigeria 🇳🇬 #WCQ2022

I’m told FIFA has already booked hotels in Kumasi for its match assessors and monitors in Kumasi.”
