‘Juju’ Was planted on Mahama’s Chair- NDC Youth Organiser

The Bono Regional Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has alleged that former President John Dramani Mahama escaped a charm when he failed to show up at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for the 63rd Independence Anniversary.

He claimed among others that the seat reserved for the former President was planted with fetish charm popularly known as ‘juju’ to harm the former President.

The absence of the former President at the event last Friday sparked criticisms largely from members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who have accused him of not showing statesmanship.

It is not exactly clear what prevented the former President from attending the function.

Photos of an empty seat tagged with the name John Dramani Mahama flooded social media during the Independence Day celebration amidst suggestions he deliberately refused to attend.

In a social media post repoted by MyNewsGh the NDC Youth leader said “They know by themselves why it has pained them so much so that they have forgotten to discuss the empty speech of the President but talk about our incoming President, John Dramani Mahama.
