Insults have made my skin tough – C.K Akonnor

Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, C.K Akonnor has said the insults he has received has made his skin tough.

In an interview monitored by The Post, Akonnor said he was “surprised” by the “things [insults] he met” after the “Ash Gold game.”

Adding, he said the insults have made his “skin tough” and “it is sad, it is unfortunate” that things like that go on “in this part of our world.”

Since his appointment, there have been calls for his sacking by a section of the supporters of the club especially after Kotoko’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup.

Kotoko lies second in group B of the ongoing Normalisation Committee Special Cup.

C.K, nonetheless, accepted that the insults are part of his job.
