Popular Ghanaian musician, Yaa Pono is one of many people who are calling for the legalization of marijuana in Ghana.
However, he is of the staunch view that its legalization should come with its own control measures to ensure that the plant isn’t abused.
According to him, although many countries are reaping the benefits of marijuana economically, these countries have some measures put in place to prevent the abuse of the plant.
He made this known during a recent interview where he was heard to have said;
“A lot of countries have legalized weed and they are rich. There’s something called control. You can’t just legalize weed without control.”
