According to some media reports, three men, Shehu Abdullahi, 20, Babawuro Jauro Sani, 27, and Wada Wakili Musa, 25, block roads which makes it impossible to access the full road then launch attack on innocent people.
They were later been arrested and placed in police custody, waiting to be arraigned before court. The three young men were arrested by yhe Bauchi State Police for extortion and armed robbery in the vicinity. The three men, terrorised the residents and commuters along Kano-Maiduguri highway.
Shehu Abdullahi, the youngest among them confessed all activities taken by the crew and revealed that he involved himself in armed robbery to enable fund his wedding as quoted before
“Honestly, I wanted to marry and I did not have the money. I wanted to use it to marry.”
