Popular actress and TV personality, Nana Am McBrown has revealed that she has told herself that she would never feature in a commercial for an alcoholic or bleaching cream brand.
On the Hall Of Fame show hosted by AJ Sapong on Citi TV, the actress who is known to spearhead the commercials for numerous brands in Ghana said although she wants money, she has her principles never to advertise for brands that do not fit properly in her scheme of things.
When asked whether her decision was based on the recent ban on celebrities not to advertise for alcoholic brands, Nana Ama McBrown responded that her decision was made long before the ban was introduced.
She added that her position allows her to be of influence on the young. Therefore she is not ready to be of a negative influence on people who look up to her. She went on to say that she knows very well that she is popular and kids know her very well thus she is very cautious about her decisions.
Nana Ama McBrown among other things said she is very private and does like to let the public into some of her private life especially when it has to do with the family.
