Since the Government, disclosed this some Ghanaians have debated on the integrity of the information the Government put across.
Some Ghanaians think that the ruling Government is just finding ways to misuse the budgeted $100 million which is meant to be used to prepare for the outbreak of the virus.
Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah speaking on an interview on Onua FM, dared anyone who doesn’t believe that Ghana has recorded confirmed cases of the virus to come and be sent to where these people have been quarantined for the person to hug them and see if he/she will survive.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah stated that the two victims have been in the country for about a week with one of them being a Ghanaian who came back to Turkey.
He also added that efforts are being made to trace people who might have contracted the virus while in the country.
