Fresh Update on Songne Yacouba’s Kotoko Contract Extension

Asante Kotoko have reportedly opened new contract negotiation talks with Sogne Yacouba and his representatives.

The Club’s NCC Chairman Christopher Demenya revealed yesterday that they are willing to contribute to fund the player’s contract and are currently waiting for the club’s approval.

Maxwell Konadu stated a few weeks ago that the player will only come back to the squad when they resolve his contract issues, and his return yesterday suggests that the club are on the verge of agreeing on a contract extension with the player and his representatives.

Songne Yacouba has so far registered three assists for Asante Kotoko this season, more than any player in the squad.
