On Tuesday, 24th March, 2020, The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo met with the leadership of some of the 137 Market Associations in Accra, to thank them for co-operating with the disinfection exercise that was carried out yesterday in markets in the capital.
Amongst others, he urged them to continue to maintain strict self-discipline, and continue to practice prescribed social distancing and enhanced hygiene protocols in all aspects of our daily lives.
