Marriage is a lifetime union between two people of different genders and always ordained by God Almighty. However, a woman’s attempt to end her 16 year marriage has been thrown out by court.
According to The Standard Digital,the woman had cheated on her husband and was even pregnant for the other man. But despite the infidelity,her union with the husband remains.
The woman is in his early 40s while the man is in his 80s and that is why the woman looked for a young energetic man. However the court ruled that once the baby is born he or she will belong solely to the woman
Senior Principal Kadhi Abdulhalim Athman declined to allow the divorce despite the woman confessing that she was pregnant with another man’s child.
The couple were advised not to engage in conjugal rights until the woman gives birth. The two got married under Islamic law.
