The Central Committee (CC) of the Convention People’s Party held a meeting on 10th January 2020 to approve the date for Delegates Congress and the fees charged for the various national executive positions.
The CC meeting on consensus approved of Congress date as March 8, 2020, and Kumasi chosen as the venue for the Congress.
The following were decided as the fees for the various national executive positions:
- Nomination forms = GHS 2,000
- National Organizer = GHS 30,000
- National Women Organizer and National Youth Organizer = GHS 20,000
- General Secretary, Vice Chairmen and Treasurer = GHS 70,000
- Chairman = GHS 100,000
- Flagbearer = GHS 200,000.
