A 52-year-old Ghanaian woman breaks down in tears as she describes how her family was requesting a large sum of money as her bride price.
She claims to have stayed abroad and returned to Ghana to continue her efforts, but one thing she lacked was her family’s constant insistence that men avoid her.
The latest man in her life also lives in the UK, she said, but her family is seeking $3,000 as her bride price.
“I’m 52 years old, and my family demands $3,000 as the bride price from any man who approaches me.
Not because I’m a young woman, but rather because my future husband is abroad.
An old lady like me, who has kids of my own and he also has kids, but I don’t see why they are treating me this way,” she continued.
