Dan Mani, an Indian national who resides in Ghana, is said to have committed suicide at Sewfi Bekwai.
The Indian had spent nearly two years living in Ghana, according to Mr. Akpala, a reporter for Kessben FM.
In a report by Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah, Mr. Akpala detailed how Dan recently started smoking and drinking after his girlfriend threatened to end the relationship.
The Indian reportedly told his landlord and coworkers about the circumstance. They made an effort to assist him, but he persisted in smoking and drinking right up until the end.
The neighbors said that after receiving word from his girlfriend that they were ending the relationship, he ended up killing himself.
