Yilo Star Microfinance Ltd is a financial institution which was established in 2015 and has since operated under laws of BoG.
Following the revocation of license of some microfinance companies in the country last week, the microfinance company, initially, it experienced some unusual withdrawals from its cherished customers.
This has happened to other MFs in good standing. We are happy to note that we did not fail to meet our commitment and deposits are going up again. Many who withdrew are back to normal banking.
Speaking to the Head of Operations of the Financial institution at it’s Head Office At Akutunya-Somanya on Friday, he emphasized that YILO Star microfinance is still Operational and that all customers investments are safe. The Bank has adopted a policy of giving more attention to its loyal customers and that move is ongoing.
He further added that, Yilo Star is on the list of 137 operational microfinance companies published by BoG. Since the list is alphabetical,it placenta on the list should not confuse our loyal customers..
He therefore advised the customers and general public to ignore any speculations that the financial institution’s licence has been revoked .
