Celebrity members of The Mafia Gang, Diamond Appiah and Afia Schwarzenegger have spoken out about the power they have in Ghana which is even more than the New Patriotic Party (NPP) (NPP).
They further assert that not even the strongest opposition political group, the National Democratic Party (NDC), is able to compete with them on a level playing field.
This proclamation was made after Tracey Boakye, the third member of the ‘notorious’ mafia group, married a man on July 28.
This pair claims that their critics were incorrect, particularly those who made baseless accusations against them.
“This is the group of the Mafia, plain and simple. We’re here to stand up for what’s right. The Mafia Family. As far as Afia is concerned, “We are stronger than the political party that is in power…we are stronger than the opposition party as well.”
Laughing, Diamond said, “It will hurt you…we are even stronger than East Legon Executive Club.”
There were several stories this week about Tracey Boakye and her new husband, Frank Badu Ntiamoah, who announced their marriage this week.
Several Ghanaian celebrities, including Kumawood actors, were in attendance during Tracey’s wedding, which was held in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region.
